Monster Bingo
With spring break around the corner, I need activities to keep my kids amused. I created bingo cards using the Mouthy Monsters Cut It Set and Mouthy Monsters Alphabet from Lettering Delights. Since each card needs 24 characters, I copied each character, ungrouped and changed the color (each box is a 1" square).
I created 3" squares of each character so it's easy for the kids to see the character and number as I draw each number from a bag. I printed out 2 cards per sheet and used a paper cutter for both the bingo cards and 3" inch squares. I purchased neon googly eyes to use as markers.
For last year's birthday party, I made bingo cards with the theme's characters. We played during the last part of the party and skipped opening their gifts. I bought a couple of small trophies for the first couple of winners (4 in a row). I purposely had all the same characters on the cards so all of the kids can win during the last game...blackout! It was fun to watch the kids get excited as they were close to filling up their squares and it was hilarious to hear 15 voices yell "Bingo" at the same time. I bought small bouncy balls at the dollar store as their blackout bingo prize.
Materials used:
Georgia Pacific Cardstock White (110 lbs)
Neon Googly Eyes
